Rental Process
There are two options:
Shipping (€13,68): When you select the shipping option, your shoes will be delivered to your doorstep on the delivery day you chose. For returns, simply drop them off at your nearest PostNL pickup point before your rental period ends.
Local (FREE): If you opt for local pickup, you may visit our business address (Hasselt) any time from 4 PM on the Sunday before the start of your rental period until the end of your rental period. Please ensure that the shoes are also returned to our business address before your rental period concludes.
Only want to visit once? Feel free to visit us and go out for a test run near our establishment!
Please notify us through brechtc@run-it.be at what time you expect to pick up/return the shoes so we can be prepared for your arrival!
You may cancel your order up until 12:00 AM on the Friday (that falls 3 days) before the scheduled delivery date. To cancel your delivery, please contact brechtc@run-it.be with your request. We will in turn cancel your order and refund your rental fee / deposit / shipping costs

Delivery dates are estimated and may be affected by unforeseen delays (weather, carrier issues, etc.). If your shoes do not arrive as expected, contact our support team (brechtc@run-it.be), and we will track your shipment and provide an update.
The rental period starts on the actual day of receipt and extends for the designated rental duration (e.g., if received on Tuesday instead of Monday, the return deadline shifts accordingly to maintain the full rental duration).
Yes, late returns incur a €15 penalty fee for each day beyond the return date (up until the full retail price of the shoe(s). A return is on-time if it is delivered to the PostNL pickup point at the return-day or when the shoes are returned to our business address.

Payment Information
We accept various payment methods, including Bancontact, credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and other secure online payment gateways.
Yes, we take the security of your payment information seriously. Our website uses encrypted connections (SSL) to protect your personal and payment details, ensuring a safe and secure transaction.
Yes, For each rental, we require a refundable deposit equal to 32% of the shoe's retail value. For example, if a shoe is valued at €300, the deposit would
be €93,75. If you rent more shoes, for example 3 pairs of €300 shoes, the deposit would be €281,25. This deposit covers potential damages or late fees and will be refunded upon acceptable return.
As we are a growing platform, each pair of shoes is important to us, and lost or damaged returns come at a high cost, something we simply can't afford. To ensure we can continue offering our service, we require a deposit. We appreciate your understanding and support!
If a shoe is not returned, your deposit will be forfeited, and you will be responsible for paying the remaining balance to cover the full retail value of the shoe. We take non-returns seriously and may pursue legal action if necessary.
In the event that the rented shoes are lost or stolen during your rental period, you will be held responsible for the loss and charged the full replacement cost of the shoes. This policy is standard in equipment rental agreements, where the customer accepts responsibility for all losses with lost equipment being charged at current replacement costs.

Testing Process
Yes! we prioritize hygiene by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all returned shoes. Our process includes removing dirt, debris and cleaning the shoes inside-out. We also provide SmellWell pouches (as can be seen in the picture) to maintain freshness during your rental period (dog friendly!). These measures ensure each pair is safe and fresh for the next user.
We will do the cleaning, however after each run, we ask you to remove excess dirt, insert the provided SmellWell pouches to control
odor, and ensure the shoes are kept clean and dry.
We understand that normal wear is inevitable. However, excessive wear or damage beyond typical use may result in a penalty fee. To ensure fairness, we carefully inspect each pair of shoes upon return. For detailed guidelines on acceptable wear and potential penalties, please refer to our Rental Agreement.
Yes, our rental shoes are primarily designed for road running and are not suitable for trail running or off-road terrains. Using them on such surfaces can cause excessive wear or damage. Please refer to our Rental Agreement for specific guidelines.
Depending on availability, you may rent multiple pairs (up to 3 pairs) at once. Each rental will require a separate deposit and is subject to our standard rental terms.

No problem! Just manually provide an estimate of how much you ran by contacting brechtc@run-it.be, even though we know it didn't happen if it's not on Strava. ;)
No, our service is currently only available within Belgium. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
